Fun Loving and Fed Up: Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives [Rabid Dog’s House]

The Rabid Dog’s House is a recurring feature at Wicked Horror where contributor Justin Steele uncovers hidden gems, lost classics, and overlooked indie offerings. Flying solo or with his co-host Zena Dixon, he will discuss an array of topics covering film, literature, and television. Check out the latest installment below. In this episode we’re looking back at 2010’s Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives!

Directed by Israel Luna, Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives follows the trans women dancers at a local club that are as fun loving as they are catty. Their loyalties are soon tested when one of the women, Bubbles (Krystal Summers), shows up one night with a black eye, and the man (Tom Zembrod) who assaulted her comes back for more. After a gruesome series of events, these ticked-off women find they are not going to take it anymore. Filmed in an homage to Grindhouse and exploitation flicks, Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives will leave audiences more than a little entertained.
