Several months ago, Tom Six confirmed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that The Human Centipede 3: Final Sequence has been slated for release later this year. However, a mores specific release date has not yet been announced. Six also substantiated earlier claims that the film will in deed deliver a 500 person centipede.
As the title suggests, Tom Six plans for this to be the final film in the series. It is set in a US maximum security prison in the middle of the desert. No other plot details have been revealed as of this posting.
The Human Centipede 3 will feature returning cast members Dieter Laser, Laurence R. Harvey, Bill Hutchens and Peter Blankenstein. Erica Roberts (Camp Dread) has been confirmed as part of the cast as well. Writer/Director Tom Six will also make an appearance in the final installment of his Human Centipede trilogy.
I’m not a die-hard fan of the Human Centipede films. I found some merit in the first and was a bit disturbed by the second. I’m curious to learn more about the third installment but am not waiting on pins and needles. We will keep you apprised as more information regarding a release date becomes available.
