The Vicious brothers are back and have dropped the found footage approach with more traditional narrative Extraterrestrial.
Formerly known as The Visitors, Extraterrestrial will follow a group of college friend’s traveling to a secluded cabin in the woods for a weekend of partying. As the night is winding down, they notice something strange that looks like a ball of fire descending through the air. The group venture out towards the crash site and discover the wrecked of a crashed aircraft, along with footprints that suggests its occupants are still alive and the college friends soon find themselves desperately trying to survive the night as vengeful visitors attack from all sides.
Extraterrestrial also stars Brittany Allen (Dead Before Dawn 3D), Freddie Stroma (Harry Potter, The Inbetweeners 2), Melanie Papalia (The Den, Smiley), Jesse Moss (Final Destination 3, Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil), Michael Ironside (Total Recall, The Machinist) and Gil Bellows (House at the End of the Street, The Shawshank Redemption).
The Vicious Brothers, otherwise known as Canadian filmmakers Colin Minihan and Stuart Ortiz, previously directed the found-footage 2011 feature Grave Encounters and its 2012 sequel.
