Scared of clowns? You will be…
Clown started out as a faux trailer that garnered the attention of horror master Eli Roth.
Roth (Last Exorcism, Hostel, Cabin Fever) loved the idea and came onboard to shepherd the feature film. Directed by Jon Watts, Clown, is about a loving father who finds a clown suit to wear for his son’s birthday party, only to soon realize that the suit is part of an evil curse that turns its wearer into a killer.
The script for Clown was written by Christopher D. Ford and Jon Watts, and will star Andy Powers (In Her Shoes), Peter Stormare (The Blacklist TV series, 22 Jump Street, Armageddon), Laura Allen (From Within) and Elizabeth Whitmere (The Watch).
The Eli Roth-produced Clown is getting some overseas play soon. The film opens in Italy on November 13th 2014. Check the awesome one sheet for that below.
We will keep you updated on further release dates when they come in.
