Just yesterday, Paramount Pictures revealed a motion poster for the forthcoming Terminator Genisys. It was announced the full trailer would debut on Thursday but we have a brief teaser for the trailer, giving you the first look at the upcoming reboot.
The plot details for the upcoming Terminator Genisys suggest that Arnold Schwarzenegger will once again star as a Terminator sent back in time to protect a young Sarah Connor. The story will be a continuity of the entire Terminator franchise by recreating scenes from the first two films in the series. Terminator Genisys will also feature a man-machine hybrid as its primary antagonist which the filmmakers describe as a “visual game changer.”
Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Jai Courtney (Divergent), J.K. Simmons (The Closer), Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games), Byung Hun Lee (I Saw the Devil) and Matt Smith (Doctor Who TV Series). Terminator Genisys is directed by Thor: The Dark World‘s Alan Taylor from a screenplay by Laeta Kalogridis (Night Watch) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry).
Hitting theaters on July 1, 2015, Terminator Genisys is the first in a planned trilogy of films.
