We have a brand new clip from Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno to share with you. The newly released excerpt provides a look at the tribe of cannibals from the upcoming film as they stalk and hunt their prey. Check out the brand new clip for yourself in the player below! The film will see a wide theatrical release September 25th courtesy of the newly minted Blumhouse Tilt label.
As we previously reported, The Green Inferno was pulled from Worldview Entertainment’s release calendar due to an issue with their former CEO’s commitment to provide $3.7 million for Prints and Advertising. Without that funding in place, the fate of The Green Inferno was left hanging in the balance for a very long time. The project was eventually rescued by Jason Blum and his team ay Blumhouse. Now we can now gear up to check out the film very soon! Much gratitude to team Blumhouse for rescuing the picture from an uncertain fate!
The Green Inferno marks Eli Roth’s first feature film directorial effort since Hostel Part II. It sees a group of friends opting to travel across the world in an attempt to ‘Save the Amazon’. This is a decision they come to regret when they are captured and tortured by a tribe of flesh hungry cannibals.
