Jeff Goldblum Will Deliver a “Saucy” and “Sassy” Return in Jurassic World 2

Jurassic World 2

As we previously reportedJurassic Park alum Jeff Goldblum is boarding the upcoming Jurassic World 2.  And now we have some soundbites from the man himself regarding his return to the series. Goldblum is promising a “sassy” and “saucy” return to form. See what he had to say for yourself, below.

“Off I go in a few weeks to London, where they’ve been hard at work, and I’ll try to contribute something to the plate of dino-entertainment,” Goldblum told EW. I like my character. I think my character is a saucy, sassy man of some integrity and deep thinking. And of course, that whole world continues to be popular, slam-bang, top entertainment.

Dr. Malcolm is a mathematician and proponent of Chaos Theory. Malcolm was also depicted in the novel, Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton.

2015’s Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt (Jennifer’s Body) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Terminator Salvation). Both actors have already signed on to return. Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Toby Jones have also joined the cast. The targeted release date for Jurassic World 2 is June 22, 2018.

Frank Marshall and Stephen Spielberg will be back to executive produce. Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly penned the screenplay for the forthcoming sequel.  J.A. Bayona will be at the helm.

Jurassic World brought in $1.67 Billion at the global box office. It currently stands as the fourth highest grossing film of all time.

Jurassic World picks up nearly 25 years after the events of the first film. Isla Nubla has worked out its ‘kinks’ and is a fully operational as a tourist destination. The park is now owned by the Patel Corporation. In response to declining tickets sales and a general lack of public interest in the park, the Patel Corporation introduces a new attraction to revitalize interest in the park. As should be expected, things don’t work out as planned and the park’s human visitors become dinosaur snacks.
