M. Night Shyamalan’s divisive trilogy-closer Glass is coming home in just a few weeks, which will give fans more opportunity to delve into every Easter egg and potential hint at the greater mythology — and to own the trilogy for themselves. To help them out, the Blu-ray release is loaded with extras from the man himself.
Glass was #1 in North America for three weeks in a row. The flick saw James McAvoy’s Split villain, Kevin Wendell Crumb, teaming up with Samuel L. Jackson’s titular Mr. Glass against Bruce Willis’s David Dunn, with the two characters appearing onscreen for the first time in 20 years since Unbreakable. Featuring alongside McAvoy, Jackson, and Willis are Sarah Paulson and Anya-Taylor Joy.
The flick hits Digital on April 2, 2019, followed by 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand April 16, 2019 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The home release includes over an hour of never-before-seen features elaborating on Shyamalan’s process and artistic vision, including an in-depth look at the making of the film, insights into the characters, an alternate ending, and deleted scenes.
