Geena Davis Wants to Be a Part of the Beetlejuice Sequel

Why Beetlejuice is an unsung antihero of horror - Michael Keaton Beetlejuice - That One Time Beetlejuice Almost Went Hawaiian - Beetlejuice 2

Geena Davis recently spoke with ETonline and when the conversation turned to the long discussed Beetlejuice sequel, the actress confessed that she would be very interested in being a part of it. Head inside for all the details!

“I did hear that it’s really happening,” Davis told ETonline. “No one’s talked to me about it. I would love to! That was one of my favorite movies, too.”

She did bring up one possible snag that could keep her from scoring a cameo in the film but we would be more than willing to suspend our disbelief.

“But ghosts probably don’t age, and it’s going to be 30 years now. Of course, I haven’t aged, but I think Alec Baldwin maybe has aged, perhaps,” Davis jokingly said.

As we previously revealed, Winona Ryder will be on board for the long buzzed about second installment in the Beetlejuice series. The sequel has suffered through development hell for years but it seems as though things are finally coming together, with both Michael Keaton and Tim Burton confirming that they are on board, as well.

The original film sees a pair of recently deceased ghosts trying to exorcise the new (living) inhabitants of their home by enlisting the services of a bio-exorcist.
