First Poster For SiREN Hints At The Danger Within

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything in particular about SiREN, the upcoming spinoff of popular V/H/S segment “Amateur Night”. Now, much like the titular creature herself, a poster has dropped right on top of us, clawing at our faces. Check it out after the jump.

The flick, directed by V/H/S alum Gregg Bishop and backed by Chiller Films, is due to hit theaters on December 2, 2016 followed by VOD, DVD and all the rest on the 6th.

The film stars Chase Williamson (The Guest, John Dies at the End), Justin Welborn (The Final Destination), Michael Aaron Milligan (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Hayes Mercure (Mascots), Randy McDowell (Elvis), and as the creature herself, Hannah Fierman, who made a very lasting impression in “Amateur Night“.

SiREN is a horror-thriller about Jonah, an apprehensive groom-to-be whose bachelor party turns into a nightmare when he frees a seemingly innocent victimized girl locked up in a supernatural sex club. Her ruthless handler and proprietor of the sex club will stop at nothing to re-capture his prize. Jonah struggles to rescue the girl, only to discover it is he who needs to be rescued as he comes to the realization that she is a dangerous fabled predator who has chosen him as her prize.

SiREN premiered in the US at Wizard World, Chicago on August 21st before going down an absolute storm at Frightfest in the UK on the 28th. You can check out our review from the latter festival right here.

The first poster, which hints at what kind of creature is at the heart of the movie, is below in all its glory. It should give some indication of what the film is all about.

Stay tuned to the site for more info as it becomes available. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts on the upcoming movie in the comments section below.
