We have exciting news for X-Files fans. We’ve got your first look at Mulder and Scully on the set of the revival series. Head past the jump for your first look at the new image!
The snapshot debuted via the series’ official Twitter account today. It’s an image taken from a monitor, so it’s not the clearest but you could definitely do worse!
The show will make its triumphant return to television as a six episode limited event in January 2016 on Fox! More specifically, it will be returning January 24th at 10 PM, after the NFC Championship Game.
Thus far, we know that Chris Carter, David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, and Mitch Pileggi will be returning, along with William B. Davis as ‘The Smoking Man’.
The original series saw Agents Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) and Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) dealing with all things paranormal and seeking answers to the unexplained. Mitch Pileggi starred as Agent Skinner, the senior agent to the dynamic duo. The X-Files television series was created by genre stalwart Chris Carter (Millennium). Carter is onboard to spearhead the rebooted series.
