Today sees the release of yet another Conjuring 2 featurette. This time around, we get a great deal of face time with James Wan. The director discusses his desire to bring respect back to studio horror films and much more. The featurette also offers another look at the upcoming film.

What we know so far is that The Conjuring 2 will take on skeptics and it will also briefly touch on The Amityville Horror case.

The Conjuring 2 will hit theaters June 10, 2016. It was green lit prior to The Conjuring even having hit theaters. New Line and Warner Brothers had faith in the property very early on. And their confidence proved to be well warranted. Since the film’s release it has been classified as the fourth highest grossing horror film of all time. The story of Ed and Lorraine Warren struck a chord with audiences and their exploits will again take center stage in the upcoming sequel.

The Conjuring 2 will explore a case that the Warrens handled in Enfield, England involving a possession by a very nasty wraith. Lorraine Warren has previously referenced this case as one of the most terrifying of her career as a demonologist. The film stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Abhi Sinha, and Frances O’Connor. James Wan helmed the picture.
