Annabelle Gets Her Own TV Spot!

She terrified in The Conjuring but this is where it all began for Annabelle.

From Warner Bros. Pictures comes the first TV spot for Annabelle, the upcoming spin-off that focuses on that creepy doll in The Conjuring.

You might not expect a 30-second TV spot to pack as much punch as the first great trailer for Annabelle, but it certainly does.

Annabelle reunites the filmmakers behind 2013’s hugely successful supernatural thriller with John R. Leonetti, who served as cinematographer on The Conjuring directing the new spin-off. While James Wan, who directed The Conjuring will be producing the global hit with Peter Safran.

The film will base itself around John Form who thinks he has found the perfect gift for his expectant wife, Mia. This gift is in the shape of a beautiful, rare vintage doll in a pure white wedding dress. Unfortunately Mia’s delight with Annabelle doesn’t last long.

On one horrific night, their home is invaded by members of a satanic cult who violently attack the couple. Spilled blood and terror are not all they leave behind. The cultists have conjured an entity so malevolent that nothing they did will compare to the sinister conduit to the damned that is now… Annabelle.

Starring Annabelle Wallis (X-Men: First Class) and Ward Horton (The Wolf of Wall Street). Oscar nominee Alfre Woodard (Twelve Years a Slave), Brian Howe (Devil’s Knot), Tony Amendola (TV’s Once Upon A Time) and Eric Ladin (TV’s Boardwalk Empire).

Just like The Conjuring before it, Annabelle has been slapped with an R rating. “Intense sequences of disturbing violence and terror,” is the reason given by the ratings board. I very much like those reasons.

Capable of unspeakable evil, the actual doll exists locked up in an occult museum in Connecticut, visited only by a priest who blesses her twice a month.

Annabelle will hit US cinemas from October 3rd and the UK from October 10th.

Can’t wait! I’ve missed her so much!
