Frightfest 2015 Interview: Anthony Di Blasi

Director Anthony DiBlasi talks to Wicked Horror’s Joey Keogh about his latest movie, the graduation-themed slasher Most Likely To Die, at Frightfest 2015. The director opens up about his inspiration for the film, why he wanted to make the modern equivalent of a ’90s slasher film, how he arrived at a shooting locale, and his thoughts on the notoriously picky FrightFest crowd. Genre film fans may remember DiBlasi from the chilling, pseudo horror film Missionary.

Most Likely To Die is the latest offering from popular director Anthony DiBlasi (Dread, Cassadaga). It is a slasher written as an ode of sorts to the nineties golden era, by Laura Brennan. The film stars Heather Morris (Glee) and Perez Hilton (the Internet) as members of a group of former classmates who make the fateful decision to reunite after ten years, in an isolated location. They are then picked off one by one at the hands of a masked killer clad in graduation garb.

Stay tuned to Wicked Horror for the latest in horror news and of course more must-watch interviews from Frightfest 2015, along with reviews of some of this year’s most anticipated movies.
